Prior to the adoption of 17.32.020 (Ord. 2135) on 01/20/2003, Section 17.32.020 read as follows.

    A light industrial use is one which creates a minimum amount of nuisance outside the plant, is conducted entirely within enclosed buildings, does not use the open area around such buildings for storage of raw materials or manufactured products or for any other industrial purpose other than transporting goods between buildings, provides for enclosed loading and unloading berths, and which is not noxious or offensive by reason of the emission of smoke, dust, fumes, gas, odors, noises or vibrations beyond the confines of the building. As such, the permitted uses shall be all those which qualify and can meet the standards as set forth in the industrial development section of the city code, as amended.
